Coming off an inaugural event that exceeded expectations, tickets for the second annual Myrtle Beach Classic will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20.
Tickets for the PGA Tour event will be available for purchase at MyrtleBeachClassic.com.
The opposite-field tournament will be played May 8-11, 2025, at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, allowing people the opportunity to watch some of the golf’s top players while enjoying a trip to the game’s most popular destination.
The event is open to the public from May 7-11 (Wednesday through Sunday), with ticket options starting at $50 for Thursday and Sunday rounds, $60 for Friday and Saturday rounds, and $30 for Wednesday’s practice round. Both daily and weekly general admission tickets are available. Children 15 and under will again be admitted free with an adult ticketholder, while military and first responders will have access to two free tickets for Wednesday’s practice round, and discounted tickets for all four official tournament rounds.
Those looking for an upgraded experience will have three shared hospitality options to choose from in Club 18, Club 17 and the Clubhouse Lounge.
More than 40,000 people attended the 2024 event, which was won by Chris Gotterup, who finished at 22-under, six strokes clear of second-place finisher Davis Thompson. While Gotterup’s first PGA Tour win was the highlight of the week, it was far from the only story that attracted attention.
Matt Atkins, who won The Q at Myrtle Beach, an 18-shootout pitting eight of golf’s most prominent YouTubers against eight aspiring PGA Tour pros at TPC Myrtle Beach, made the cut and finished 46th.
Then 16-year-old Blades Brown rallied late on Friday to make the cut and played well over the weekend to finish 26th, attracting some of the week’s largest galleries along the way.
Starting early Sunday morning, Thorbjorn Olesen fired a 10-under-par 61, setting a new course record at the storied Dunes Club, propelling him to a 16th place finish. Olesen broke the previous record of 63 set by Jay Sigel in the 1994 Senior PGA Tour Championship.
