Great course, second time playing it. Only issue was a few of the fairways recently had drains installed, the grass hasn't grown back yet. Staff was friendly, price was right, will play again.

Course is nice but greens are a bit rough and fairways can be dried out and hard giving long runs that can get you in trouble with water if you know what you normally hit. Best to take one club less if any chance of reaching water. At times I would get some 25 yards more than my normal tee shots. Tees are rough but playable. Greens putted pretty true and only had some problems when ball was hit soft and taking a few unexpected turns at times as though there were some unnoticeable depressions. Best to hit it firm when near the hole. Last three holes can be a bear but are still fun. Traps are well placed around greens and in good shape and still present decent openings to green if you don't want to go over them.

Greens had recently been topped. I did not notice that information listed like the other courses, when I booked the tee time. They did not putt very true or consistently.

Eagle's Nest has maybe the fastest greens on the Grand Strand. The roll fast and true. The mini-verde grass that is now on the greens really putts well. The nest is an older course that has upgraded itself. The last 3 holes are as good as any finish on the Strand. If you have not played Eagles Nest recently, it is well worth a visit. Great Greens!

Need a starter at hole one and a ranger on the course. Didn't like the sand covering the greens. The practice green was nothing like the greens on the course. If people do not wish to use bag drop the attendant needs to allow that and respect that. And no need to be grumpy in the morning to a person about to give you a tip. Overall good experience.

I enjoyed playing an early morning foursome the other day. It was the first time for me at Eagles Nest. The course layout and conditions were excellent. We look forward to playing again soon.

This course is very fair with expansive fairways and excellent water features. The greens are very well tended and subtle breaks require a good read if you want to make birdie.

Overall the course was good and I'd play it again. Nice layout and the ranger was friendly and helpful. Young lady at the grill was courteous even when very busy. Played November 15, 2013

Love playing at Eagles Nest, course is player friendly and in good shape. Would like to see the gold Tee boxes moved back away from the Red Tee boxes. Would also like to see the grass on the fairways a little higher, feel that they are cut to short

My husband & I , as well as my 3 girlfriends golfed here twice. The pro-shop cashier, Rick, was accommodating, during the extremely busy time & the starter, John, was very personable. We will highly recommend this course & are looking forward to coming back.
